The Amazing Auburn Program

Auburn’s freshman leadership program, All for Auburn, will be hosting “The Amazing Auburn Program” on April 7 alongside Best Buddies and Bravehearts. This event is a talent show for those with disabilities to participate in at no cost.  The purpose of this event is to celebrate the ability in people, not the disability.

The All for Auburn freshman leadership group is made up of 45 freshmen and four directors. This particular group works to advocate for the integration of people with disabilities into Auburn University. All-inclusive pageants are seen at most South Eastern Conference schools, but this is the first time Auburn University will be hosting a pageant like this.

“We are trying to break the stigma that people with special needs are not extraordinary or talented. They have special passions just like everyone else and we cannot wait to show that to the rest of Auburn.”-Chase Walters
